W.M. is a gamer and home theater enthusiast from Houston, Texas.
W.M. purchased a new home with a builder grade home theater system pre-installed, but he wasn't happy with the performance and wanted a significant upgrade.
He purchased a $30k 88" LG OLED for the video side. Now he needed the audio system upgraded, including acoustic treatment. He found Acoustic Frontiers through projects completed for other AV enthusiasts on AVS Forum.
One of the unique aspects of this project was the need to work around the existing in-wall speaker locations – W.M. didn’t want to do the remodeling work required to patch the drywall in these locations.

Acoustic treatments, including custom sized and constructed "BASS PLATE*" panels, which also provide mounting for the left/center/right speakers, our WAVE diffuser and POLY absorber panels.
Audio system calibration of the miniDSP used for subwoofer array management and Audyssey used for room correction (performed remotely).
*our Bass Plates are custom designed and made for each project. The core of the product is a damped steel plate which provides superb bass absorption.
